Bio

(b. 1989 Dayton, OH) After obtaining an AA from Sinclair Community College, Arend went on to receive his BFA for the Savannah College of Art and Design. Working in the representational tradition, his large scale figurative work captures the essence of humanity.  Arend is a painter firmly established in the craft of old master pursuits. He has shown in galleries and museums across the United States, including but not limited to, The Dayton Art Institute, The Telfair Museum, and The San Diego Museum of Art. Arend is currently attending the University of Delaware for his MFA.
